The Inspectrum performs EIS measurements at unprecedented speed during your battery cell and battery system development. A specially developed toolchain in our software enables parameterization of your batteries in the shortest possible time. Optimized for industrial use, the system represents a lean but extremely powerful solution that is easy to set up and operate without special qualifications.

Inspectrum offers a particularly cost-efficient alternative to conventional EIS measurement systems, which is at the same time more precise and more robust and which leads you - literally at the push of a button - directly to your individual results. In combination with our multiplexer you have up to 8 measuring channels. This significantly reduces the measurement effort and reduces the typical error rate during cell contacting.

Conventional electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) methods are too slow to be usefully employed in industrial applications. Safion's online EIS method, on the other hand, uses superimposed excitation to measure up to 32 impedance points simultaneously. In this way, the measurement time is reduced from minutes to seconds. This allows, for the first time, to perform EIS measurements under dynamic operating conditions, such as superimposed charging and discharging currents, as well as under abuse conditions.

The performance and safety limits of lithium-ion batteries can thus be measured with unprecedented accuracy, providing our customers with trend-setting insights for material, cell design and battery system development.
