The contacting unit with the description ExaMight.Contact ensures clean electrical contacting of the battery and, depending on the version, is equipped with temperature measurement. The contacting system is available for all possible cell geometries and cell chemistries.

Desktop Contact 18/21 guarantees reproducible 4-point contacting of the test specimen. All ExaMight.Desktop contacting units are characterized by plug-and-plug integration into the ExaMight ecosystem.
The system automatically performs contacting as soon as the battery test object is inserted. This eliminates the influence of contacting on the measurement result.
The contacting unit is connected to the measuring unit via a Harting plug. Contacting units are available for all cell geometries and sizes for round, pouch or prismatic cells.

The ExaMight.Desktop Base is the basic unit for the ExaMight.Desktop test system. The base unit contains both the measuring unit for rapidEIS (rEIS) and a single-board computer on which the Examight.Suite software runs.
The ExaMight.Desktop Base contains the measuring unit for the real-time EIS as well as an integrated computer on which the Examight.Suite runs. The peripherals consisting of monitor, keyboard, mouse and barcode scanner are connected to this.
Other peripheral components
The system is conveniently operated using a mouse and keyboard and the results are visualized on the monitor.
In addition, the barcode reader is used to record the identification number or serial number of the battery cell so that all measurement data and results can be linked in the ExaMight.Suite software supplied.
